Neuromuscular Communication

brain-nervous-system

Yes! It’s a big word but don’t worry we’ll explain what it is.

Your neuro/nervous system is what helps your body function. Your brain, which is apart of your nervous system, tells your muscles to contract and relax in order for your body to move.  Neurons or nerve cells are how your brain communicates with your muscles and helps you establish neuromuscular control.  Think of your eyelid twitching or muscle cramping.  Basically, that is your brain firing off electrical pulses causing muscle spasms.  Unless you have a disorder, typically this can be controlled by balancing the electrolytes in your body (drinking Powerade/eating a banana).

Proper neruomuscular communication in the body is important because it will make your exercise routines more effective and therefore, help you see results faster.  Someone with 98% brain-muscle communication is going to see results faster than someone with only 50%.  Here at Jazmin Fitness we use scientifically proven exercises to improve neuromuscular communication so that you get results faster!
